Alexia Avant currently attends Virginia State University in Petersburg, Virginia. Her major is Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations and her minor is Business Marketing. She hopes to become a Public Relations Specialist either in fashion, the government, or for a Fortune 500 company. Mentor Alexia currently volunteers at the Boys and Girls club in Alexandria and is also a student ambassador at her university.
Mykia Bennett is a Junior Journalism Media Studies major at the illustrious Bennett College for Women in Greensboro, North Carolina. Outside of her academics she is a member of Bennett College's Pre-Alumnae Council. She also serves on the Student Ambassadors Association Executive Board. Currently Mykia is launching a blog site, working on her own lipstick line and creating a non-profit organization called "365 Days of Confidence". Mentor Mykia aspires to host her own show on a major television network, expand her brands to a national level and community service for the greater good.
Volnae Bonner is a Junior Nursing major at Howard University. Volnae was born in Los Angeles, California but has lived in Kansas City, Kansas for the majority of her life. She is a Kauffman Scholar with a full-ride to Howard. She is a member of NCNW (the National Council for Negro Women) and also volunteers with numerous organizations on campus such as Homecoming, Commencement, Springfest, etc. Mentor Volnae plans on graduating from Howard University in 2016 with her B.S.N. and then go on to be apart of Teach For America in Atlanta for two years while pursuing her Masters in Nursing as she would ultimately, like to be a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. In the past, Volnae has worked for Schlitterbahn Waterpark and Dollar General and currently works at Hollister.
Khoren Claiborne is a Junior transfer student at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro where she is majoring in Psychology and minoring in Women's Studies, with a concentration of African American Women. Her extra curricular activities involve participating in 5k marathons and interning almost any place she finds interesting in her field. Additionally, she is an aspiring Makeup Artist and wants to develop her own web seminar catered to the psychology of African American women. Mentor Khoren's goals are to establish a business catering solely to the African American community focusing on empowering women and breaking the negative stereotypes of them.
D'Amber Clark is a Junior at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is pursuing a degree in Social Work while double minoring in Sociology and Human Development and Family Studies. On campus, she serves as a Senator in the Student Government Association, the President of the Students of Action, the Community Service Chair for Girls Reaching Out, and a Special Events Coordinator for the Black Business Students Association. Furthermore, she is a recent inductee into the Sigma Alpha Lambda Honor Society. Mentor D'Amber's aspiration in life is to become a licensed Social Worker in the field of Child and Family Services.
Khadijah Givs is a highly motivated and ambitious Junior at Hampton University working towards her degree in Strategic Communication and a minor in Psychology. Her goals and aspirations in life are to become a publicist in the entertainment industry and to someday open her own PR firm. While at Hampton University she is very active with on-campus organizations. She is a member of Hampton's Student Recruitment Team,as well as an active member of NAACP. Khadijah also spends time volunteering and giving back to her community. On her days off she enjoys mentoring young girls and volunteering with METRO TEEN AIDS. Alongside of volunteering, she is a student intern in the U.S. Department of Agriculture. When Mentor Khadijah is not working, volunteering or in her books, she enjoys shopping, fashion, blogging and relaxing with friends.
Bayyinah Goss,former Lady Bug, is a Junior at McKinley Technology Educational Campus studying Mass Media. She plays center on the varsity volleyball team, enjoys dancing, modeling and working with children. She is an honor student who volunteers in her community with Mocha Moms Inc. Bayyinah plans to major in Business and Mass Communications when she begins college in two short years. From there, her aspirations are to be an entrepreneur and travel the world motivating young women to B CLEAR (Be Creative, Liberated, Educated, Ambitious & Responsible). Mentor Bayyinah wants to connect, inspire and motivate young women globally through the use of technology.
Marnica Johnson, former Lady Bug, is a Senior at Hood College in Frederick, MD. She is majoring in Psychology with a minor in Criminology and Juvenile Delinquency. Mentor Marnica's goal is to get her Masters in Clinical Psychology followed by a Psy.D to ultimately become a school psychologist or child/family psychologist.
Maya Morrison, also a former Lady Bug, is a Junior Mass Communications major at Bennett College for Women. This summer along with serving as a mentor, Maya worked at both Macy's and Shake Shack. Mentor Maya is very excited to be giving back to Club Lady Bug, the organization that gave so much to her. 
Shakira O. Paul is a Brooklyn native with Southern belle attributes. She is currently a Senior at the illustrious Howard University majoring in English and minoring in International Affairs and Relations. Her past experience includes working for the Center for Academic Excellence and J. Crew, and interning at the Thurgood Marshall College Fund. She is currently the Director of Public Relations for the Sterling Allen Brown English Society at Howard University and helps to plan events not only on her campus, but throughout the District of Columbia. In her spare time Shakira enjoys blogging, listening to music, having intellectual debates, and completing service projects through the YMCA and her community. Shakira is also heavily influenced by her mother, Agatha Paul and the following women: Maya Angelou, Lupita Nyong'o, Michelle Obama, and Kerry Washington. Upon graduation from Howard University in Spring 2015, Shakira hopes to pursue journalism or theater in hopes to make strides for women, inspiring females globally like the women that have inspired her.
Lauren Price is a Senior at North Carolina A&T State University where she is a Gold Squad Cheerleader. Her major is Criminal Justice with a
concentration in Forensics Science/Crime Scene Investigation. In the future, Mentor Lauren hopes to become a Detective/Crime Scene Investigator or Lawyer.
